Arinze Stanley Egbengwu is an internationally acclaimed Nigerian hyperrealist artist who gained global recognition after his 2016 debut for his life-sized charcoal and graphite pencil portraits. His meticulously detailed, photorealistic work explores the contemporary Black experience and addresses pressing socio-political issues in exhibitions across the US, UK, and Europe. Dedicated to supporting the next generation of creatives, he founded The Pond Studio (Pond Collective) in Lagos, a creative workspace and residency program that mentors emerging artists.
