Jacqueline Suowari

Jacqueline Suowari is an internationally acclaimed Nigerian multidisciplinary artist and advocate whose work focuses on reshaping the narrative of Black womanhood through striking, larger-than-life portraits. Her celebrated pieces have been showcased worldwide in major cities, including Lagos, New York, London, and Paris. Currently pursuing postgraduate studies at the Pratt Institute, she is also developing The School of Creative Leadership (SCL), an organisation committed to nurturing creative practitioners of African descent into influential, ethical leaders. Recognised globally for her leadership, she received the 2025 Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) award and a fellowship with the Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship (GAIMF).
