Artist & Cultural Manager
Nduwhite Ndubuisi Ahanonu is a contemporary studio artist, curator, and cultural manager who uses visual art to advocate for environmental sustainability, eco-friendly practices, and cultural diplomacy. His diverse practice includes creating thought-provoking sculptures and installations upcycled from non-biodegradable waste like discarded drink cans. Dedicated to repositioning the Nigerian creative narrative, he founded the International Institute for Creative Development (IICD) in Abuja, an influential multidisciplinary space and residency centre that mentors emerging talent and convenes major cultural festivals like the Abuja Open House.
