Precious Ofure

Precious Ofure (b.1995) is a self-taught Nigerian artist whose journey into art is rooted in a lifelong passion for creativity. From a young age, her artistic interests developed through storytelling, design, and visual exploration, eventually finding their clearest expression in painting. Her work is influenced by personal memory, cultural preservation, inheritance, and a strong desire to protect and articulate identity through art.

Her paintings incorporate heritage, tradition, and lived experience, positioning art as a dialogue between the past and present. Ofure explores themes of becoming, legacy, and cultural preservation, producing work that is both emotionally resonant and visually compelling.
