The Rebirth
Canvas.

Turning environmental responsibility into collaborative art.

Children, teachers and facilitators with the finished Rebirth Canvas artwork
Little Lambs Elementary School · Badagry, April 2026

From waste
to identity.

The Rebirth Canvas brought 32 students, seven teachers and a team of facilitators together to transform environmental waste into a collaborative artwork.

Through environmental learning, a supervised waste collection drive and a shared art-making session, children explored the connections between individual action and collective responsibility.

A painted tree became the foundation of the work. Collected plastics formed its textured bark; the children’s handprints became its leaves. The finished work remained in the community.

Many hands.
One shared work.

From the first conversation to the finished piece.
