Sunday Faith Ofurie is a visual artist from Edo State, Nigeria. She explores the medium of acrylic on fabric and canvas using mixed media techniques. Her work explores themes of identity, culture, womanhood, and the daily rhythms of life. Inspired by childhood memories, culture, and daily activities around her, she challenges stereotypes and reshapes perceptions of femininity and selfhood through her practice
Her work aims to provoke thought and inspire awareness around identity, healing, and self-actualisation. She creates to connect with those navigating identity crises or rediscovering themselves, offering her work as both a mirror and a map.
